Ihre Aufgaben und Verantwortungen
As Lead IT System-Operations it is expected to persistently strive to enhance knowledge of IT topics that may benefit the company and IT teams, to provide pro-active recommendations on areas for improvement, to promote the effective use of new and existing technology. You will be required to work closely with group IT teams around EMEA and external vendors to implement and maintain technical vendor solutions; to implement and maintain all IT Infrastructure activities.

Specific duties include but are not limited to the following:
Functional and technical lead of system operations for all infrastructure services and messaging collaborations
Planning and resource management incl. recruitment process
Define, assign and monitor Key Performance Indicators and conduct Employee Performance Assessments
Responsible forsystem operations team development and trainings
Act as Subject Matter Experttoclarity in matters such as system setup and installation, technology implementation, configuration, incident history and future plans
Accountable for windows servers and storage implementation and maintenance, software upgrades and infrastructure changes, esp. within messaging services such as Exchange, Enterprise Vault, Blackberry, Lync and Videoconferencing
Assist Project Manager to plan, manage and implement infrastructure projects, system and application upgrades
Performing routine server maintenance tasks such as maintaining messaging application patches, Exchange databases, monitoring SQL server database
Resolve 2nd-level tickets related to all available IT-I services such as windows servers, messaging and storage systems
Maintain appropriate records of actions taken, time spent, and item status of incidents and service requests by using the company’s IT Service Management ticketing tool
Collaboration with other relevant IT teams, stakeholders and suppliers
Intensive involvement in IT SOX and IT Cyber audits
Train and mentor system operations staff members as appropriate
Develop, implement data retention standards and maintain overall backup and recovery strategy (Disaster Recovery & Business Continuity)
After hours operational support can be requested

You must have gained a Bachelor Degree, Master Degree in Information Technology or has equivalent experience. A minimum of 6 years professional experience in similar position is required with an advanced knowledge in ITIL processes and IT Infrastructuremethodologies.The person’s primary responsibility and focusisassisting, managing and supporting the IT infrastructure of the company, including hardware, software, desktop,servers, storage systems, business applications,networks/security and shared infrastructure,as well as resolving all 2nd-level technical issues of the customer.He/She istaking the functional and technical lead of the day to day maintenance and operations of these IT services.
