We are looking for a Java Backend Software Engineer to complete a team of highly qualified professionals devoted to the design and the development of innovative secure mobile communication solutions. For this international and dynamic environment, we are looking for a strong and organized personality able to deal between various responsibilities, showing initiative, independence and high professionalism.

Responsibilities
Design, implement, maintain new and existing services on top of our distributed application platform
Build reusable code and libraries for future use
Optimize our applications for maximum speed and scalability
Research and stay current on security threats
Design and implementation of data storage solutions
Active participation in mentoring and skills transfer among team members

Your profile
BS in Computer Science or related technical field or equivalent practical experience
Strong Java programming skills
Familiarity with Linux and at least one scripting language
Significant experience in designing and developing server back-end software
Familiarity with relational databases and knowledge of SQL
Technical knowledge of security engineering, computer and network security, secure protocols, applied cryptography and PKI (PKCS11) is an advantage
Experience with asynchronous programming and familiarity with message queues (or message-bus based collaboration) is a plus
Open minded personality with strong communication skills and capable of working in a multidisciplinary and multicultural team
Fluent English, both written and spoken
